John Hamilton, MD

Dr. Hamilton is a native of Fayetteville, Tennessee. He received his BS from Memphis State University in 1977 and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee in 1984. Pediatric internship and residency was completed at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 1987. Dr. Hamilton has practiced general pediatrics in Florence since August of 1987 and with Infants’ & Children’s Clinic since January 1990. He did officially retire in the summer of 2020, but does work a few days a month at the Well Child Center. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and participates in the Maintenance of Certification program. Dr. Hamilton and his wife, Debbe, have been married 40 years and have grown children with spouses and 5 brilliant grandchildren.
