REACH OUT & READ

Our Reach Out and Read program started in 2008 and since then we have distributed over 69,000 books to children at well care visits age 6 months through 5 years.  Our many local supporters have helped continue funding for this program.  We are grateful to the families and organizations that continue to donate time, money or books to our program.  We appreciate the involvement of our legislators, Senator Irons and Representative Burdine joined us as judges for our Very Hungry Caterpillar costume contest as part of Books a Million’s Summer of a Million Books 2011.  If you would like to support our early literacy program or would like to volunteer to read, please contact our office.
